I had an excellent experience with the front office staff, medical assistants, and the physician, Dr. Lerner, who did an excellent job - in spite of a difficult extraction and a nervous patient. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience with Dr. Lerner for my thirteen years old tooth extraction. The entire process went very smoothly, and the doctor was extremely gentle, patient, and reassuring. He felt comfortable throughout the procedure, which really meant a lot to us as parents. The staff was kind and professional, and everything was well explained beforehand. We truly appreciate the care and attention provided and would highly recommend Dr. Lerner to anyone looking for excellent dental care for their child.

By far the best dental experience I ever had! The staff was polite and very helpful from every angle! The surgeon had to be the most pleasant part of my whole experience. Without her gentle guidance I wouldn't have probably made it through the surgery at all, but she (Dr.Lerner) helped me through step by step! And assured me that everything would be just fine!! Having to get a gum graft seemed daunting, but Dr. Naser Rezaei and his team helped explain the process, walk me through healing post op and ensure I had any questions answered. They were informative, kind, and professional throughout the process.

I had my wisdom tooth extracted here two days ago and cannot recommend them enough. My situation was urgent because the broken part of my tooth was extremely sharp and causing me a lot of discomfort. My dental clinic coordinated with the North KC team at Kansas City Dental Implants and Oral Surgery, and they were able to fit me in the same day.
The facility was very clean, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. Dr. Bahreini performed the procedure and was incredibly patient. He answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns very peacefully, which put me at ease. He even personally followed up the next day to check on my recovery. I am so grateful for their quick response and excellent care!

I had a great experience with Kansas City dental implants and oral surgery. I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed, I was scared but the pain was greater than fear of being sedated. I appreciate the staff, nurses and my oral surgeon Dr.Bahreini. All four were removed the same day and getting the appointment was easy. I was sedated but the procedure didn’t take more than an hour it was less than 40 minutes, I didn’t wait long in the waiting room, they are very nice people, and explain everything to you beforehand about the surgery and what to do afterwards. The healing process is different for everyone but personally I was able to eat solids and start eating normally after the first week of surgery 7 days and by day 10 everything seemed healing better. I didn’t feel much pain after day 2 of post surgery of course could be the Tylenol pills. I am reviewing them a month later and I can say that my gums are healing nicely and no dry socket formed, there is inflammation but to be expected however it resides if you actually take care of yourself and have someone to support or help. Ice packs are better than warm compress. I had little sensitivity to cold foods and water on one of the four areas of the extraction but as the days go by the sensitivity seems to be getting better. For payments they have options check their website and if you have any questions or concerns do give them a call to discuss payment options because they will most likely be able to provide some information on it. Overall this was an amazing place and I would recommend them to my family members and colleagues if they needed any kind of dental surgery. I would come again if needed.

Great place. The staff really takes time figure out how to help you fix your issue. They couldn’t help with my problems but offered to assist me in finding solutions to my problem.

To be clear, I would prefer not to have needed Dr. Bergthold’s services.

I don’t recommend needing bone grafts, tissue repair, implants, and months of follow up.

HOWEVER, if you are in need of compassionate, skilled, insightful, expert oral surgery, I cannot recommend Dr. Bergthold highly enough.

I appreciate how thoughtful she and her staff are, how patient she is with my questions, how willing she is to both make and explain clear treatment recommendations, and just how good she is at her job.

Her work in helping remedy a dozen years of severe and recurring injury and infection issues has been outstanding. Over the last year she has performed four different, difficult surgeries on me. Each has markedly moved forward a previously intractable issue, and we are nearing the end of that very long process.

Based on her work, my confidence that we have finally achieved real healing is high; I attribute my progress and hope for long-term improvement in my health and quality of life to her skill and hard work.

I hope you don’t need her.

You’ll be lucky to have her if you do.

My son had his wisdom teeth removed. The initial consultation made us feel very comfortable moving forward with this group. Excellent care and they answered all of my questions. All post treatment medications were ordered as chewable or liquid (per our request). If we need anything else requiring oral surgery, we would definitely use their services again.

Very professional and pain free relief

I had 4 deep rooted teeth that needed to be pulled and Dr. Marissa Bergthold and staff team were very professional explaining procedures and within an hour all 4 teeth were extracted... I'm going on the second day after procedure without any pain even though I have prescription pain pills if needed. If in the future I need any more dental work done, I will definitely without hesitation go back to have my dental taken care of.

About 5+ months later I went back to have 8 teeth pulled and began with having implants put in for my bottom lower teeth. Went in on a Tuesday within a 4 hour procedure I had the teeth pulled, bone shaved off, 6 - pre' post holes drilled and capped off to keep food debris out... 48 hours later on Thursday Dr. Bergthold and team installed my temporary implant teeth. This whole time I felt comfortable and knew that I was in the best care to have this procedure done by Dr. Marissa Bergthold and her team, it's like an art of knowing what they are doing and they take pride in their patients and their well-being and I can't wait to get my permanent implant teeth in.

Has 2 teeth removed yesterday and feeling great today. Procedures were pain free and quick. Dr Marissa Bergthold and her team were fantastic. Highly recommend!

I’d like to share how impressed I am with Dr. Marissa Bergthold and her entire office! I had a wisdom tooth extracted that had a very challenging positioning. The whole process took less than 30 minutes! No pain, no discomfort - quick and easy! The office is fabulous, Bernice at front desk is the loveliest, their tools and equipment are super- modern. Dr. Marissa is fantastic! Very pleasant, professional, patient - oriented, extremely well- trained - just simply the best. Thank you!!
